HONDA DEALERSHIPS PARTICIPATE IN THE GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP OF SC

Dealerships Around the Helping to Drive Litter Out of SC

Columbia, SC – PalmettoPride, your anti-litter organization, and Keep SC Beautiful announce that two Honda dealerships around the state have agreed to give out car litter bags in all cars they sell during the Great American Cleanup of South Carolina (GACSC).  All Honda dealerships are invited to participate in this awareness campaign aimed to educate drivers of the state litter laws in efforts to curb litter. 

To date, two Honda Dealerships have signed up to participate: Stokes Honda North in Charleston and Vic Bailey Automotive in Spartanburg. 

Honda is a national sponsor of the Great American Cleanup (GAC), the nation's largest cleanup coordinated every year from March through May by Keep America Beautiful, Inc.  Honda supports the GAC by providing for three (3) awards to participating organizations, launching a nationwide online sweepstakes. 

In 2008, more than 28,000 volunteers participated in the GACSC removing over 4 million pounds of trash and recyclables. 

Keep South Carolina Beautiful (KSCB) is the state affiliate for Keep America Beautiful, Inc. and is a program under PalmettoPride.  KSCB coordinates the GACSC annually.  PalmettoPride is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating litter and improving the environmental landscape of South Carolina.
